Non-accessible content

Some parts of the website are not fully accessible, including:

The council considers it a disproportionate burden to fully remediate all historic documents, but accessible versions will be provided on request where reasonably practicable.

What the council is doing to improve accessibility

The Council is:

  • Reviewing content before publication to improve accessibility
  • Publishing new documents in accessible formats wherever possible
  • Improving alternative text for images
  • Working with the website developer where appropriate to address accessibility issues
