Assets and Amenities Meeting Committee Meeting
You are hereby summoned to the Assets & Amenities Committee meeting to be held a
at 2 pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021 at 2 pm.
In accordance with The Local Authorities (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority Meetings) Regulations 2020 this meeting will be held remotely
Prior to the first item on the agenda there will be an opportunity for members of the public to address the Assets and Amenities Committee. The members will take these representations into account when agenda items are considered but are not required to make a response. The session will last for a maximum of 15 minutes and each member of the public will be entitled to speak for a maximum of 3 minutes after which members of the public will no longer be permitted to address the Parish Council unless specifically permitted.
1. To receive and approve where requested apologies for absence.
2. To disclose or draw attention to any disclosable pecuniary interests for the purposes of Section 31 of the Localism Act 2011 and paragraphs 13-18 of the Members Code of Conduct. Also to declare any other significant interests which the Member wishes to declare in the public interest in accordance with paragraphs 19-20 of the Members Code of Conduct.
3. To accept the minutes of the meeting of the Assets & Amenities Committee on 17th March 2021 (PC)
4. To consider producing a Wildlife Area and SCC garden Management plan and to set up a WG to achieve this. (HB)
5. To discuss solutions for the parking issues at the Pavilion and Freely Lane. (PC)
6. To consider the changes needed to the Football Contracts to mitigate the above.(PC +ML)
7. To review Pavilion running costs.(PC)
8. To consider repairs to the Pavilion.(PC)
• Kitchen Waste pipe
• Guttering
• Down pipes
• Broken slaps and uneven paths around the Pavilion building.
• To note the state of the stonework of the Pavilion.
8. To consider the shrubbery around the field.
9. To receive updates in relation to: (PC)
• Benches
• Planter
• Pooch patrol
• Adult Gym
10. To consider the following issues relating to the Playground: (PC+ML)
• Overcrowding
• Nonadherence to any Covid instructions
• Seating
• Picnic tables
• Litter bins
• Recurring damage to the equipment
11. To consider any issues relating to reopening of the Pavilion for use by personal trainers
12. Tenter Hill Allotments.
a. To undertake the annual rent review.
b. To review current arrangements regarding delegation or exercise of Council powers through the Tenter Hill Allotment Committee.
13. Update on SCC and A.O.B.
