The construction works commenced on 5th September with a proposed completion date of early February 2023. The existing facility has been demolished and removed. In completing these works it was discovered that the foundations and structural slab below the building had both failed or were in the process of failing and in time this structure would have become inherently more dangerous. The new build foundations have now been poured and the external walls at low level are currently underway. To date the works are progressing with no major concerns and key items such as Building control, planning conditions discharge and services connections are all being signed off successfully. The works are currently on budget.
