The Parish Council has been advised of the following by Tadcaster Harriers
Dear Resident
We wish to make you aware of the forthcoming running race that will pass [your house] on Tuesday 29th April.
The race is a 10km race which is part of the York & District Road Race League. The race starts at 7.00pm and the runners will come along Toulston Lane to Bramham, skirt the village and move onto the Paradise Way footpath towards Bramham Cross Roads and then return to Tadcaster Grammar School via Spen Common Lane, Warren Lane and Toulston Lane.
The route will be subject to a formal road closure between 6.50 pm and 8.30 pm so please could you bear this in mind when making your travel plans. The aim is to minimise disruption to local residents and the road closure operatives will be as co-operative as they can in allowing access as quickly as possible, consistent with safety. If you do need to speak to them on the night please bring this letter with you.
Your assistance is appreciated but should you have any concerns do not hesitate to contact me.
