Finance Committee Meeting Committee Meeting
You are hereby summoned to the Finance Committee Meeting to be held a
at 2pm on Wednesday 25 August 2021 at the Bramham Pavilion
Prior to the first item on the agenda there will be an opportunity for members of the public to address the Finance Committee. The members will take these representations into account when agenda items are considered but are not required to make a response. The session will last for a maximum of 20 minutes and each member of the public will be entitled to speak for a maximum of 3 minutes after which members of the public will no longer be permitted to address the Parish Council unless specifically permitted.
1. To receive and approve where requested apologies for absence.
2. To disclose or draw attention to any disclosable pecuniary interests for the purposes of Section 31 of the Localism Act 2011 and paragraphs 13-18 of the Members Code of Conduct. Also to declare any other significant interests which the Member wishes to declare in the public interest in accordance with paragraphs 19-20 of the Members Code of Conduct.
3. To accept the minutes of the meeting of the Finance Committee on 6 April 2021 as a true record.
4. To review the YLCA Internal Audit Report 2020/2021 and agree on any out standing actions
5. To receive the quarterly Internal Controls Checklist and agree on any action to be taken
6. To agree an Internal Auditor for 2021/2022
7. To agree the timetable for preparation of the 2021/2022 budget
8. To review current Community Fund Grants
9. Banking
9.1 To note the HSBC Safeguarding Review and consider any issues arising
9.2 To consider alternative banking option
10. To consider the option of using Scribe Accounting Software
11. To note any finance policies due for review
