Senior Citizens Centre Redevelopment

As residents are no doubt aware what is currently known as the Senior Citizens Centre, on the Square, is to be demolished and rebuilt, recycling materials where possible. The finished building will be slightly larger, having running water and an accessible toilet as well as the communal meeting area.
The works are due to start in the week beginning Monday the 5th September and should be completed within 20 weeks subject to the weather.
Whilst the completed building, sitting in a landscaped area, will improve the appearance and use of the Square there may be some inconvenience to those residents surrounding the site and possibly in the roads leading into and away from the Square. There may be:
• An increase in dust at times during the build, especially during the initial demolition phase.
• An increase in noise commensurate with a building site.
• Some extra parking in front of and on the surrounding roads to accommodate the workmen and both the removal of waste and delivery of materials.
All the above will as far as possible be kept to a minimum, so causing least disruption and inconvenience and we ask for your understanding during this period. If you have any concerns please contact the me at clerk@bramhamparishcouncil.gov.uk in the first instance.
