Yorkshire Water have cleared the blockage in the main sewer which was causing the leak of sewage/foul water from the manhole at the Parish Centre garden. The blockage was caused by a ‘fatberg’ in the main sewer on Front Street. To avoid this problem happening again residents should not flush any items such as wet wipes or sanitary products or pour cooking fat down the sink.
