Tree Works at Bramham House

Bramham Parish Council has been informed LCC has agreed to and granted permission for the owners of Bramham House to undertake further tree works at the site.  Some of the work is to be completed along the boundary to Bowcliffe Road and will require a partial road closure from 12  February 2025  for 2 or 3 days.

The council understands that the work is required as an assessment by a specialist identified several trees that were unsafe due to disease or damage.  LCC Sustainable Development Unit have concluded:

LCC supports the works proposed, felling includes small grouped Ash with class 3 Ash
Dieback, dead trees, larger specimens overhanging Bowcliffe Road that are growing out
of the top of the large retaining wall which secures the embankment, simultaneous white
rot basal infection, large mature specimen overhanging Bowcliffe Road with a split main
stem and clearing a strip of self-set saplings behind two adjacent properties that are
causing obstruction
