Please be aware that a gas main running along the edge of the playing field has been damaged. British Gas are in attendance and will be carrying out repairs this afternoon. British Gas will cordon off the area until repairs are completed. The rest of the field and the playground is still safe to use as the gas is escaping into the open are but obviously there may be a smell of gas in the area.
