Bramham Show

Wow what a day!

The weather was kind and the entries to the Bramham Produce Show more than the Council could have ever hoped for. What wide ranging talent there is in this village, a small amount of which we saw on Show Day. I am sure that there is even more hidden away which might be encouraged to come out next year.
The quality of the garden produce from the two allotments and gardens was great and the resulting preserves and drink from all this growing was wonderful. We have star bakers and talented crafters. Well done and a big thank you to all who entered.
A big thanks to BCAG for running the Bar, Folly Allotments for running the BBQ and the Ladies from the Church for providing much needed refreshments in the form of Tea and cakes. Special thanks must go to; our Judges: Rev. Morgan, Tricia Price, Chris Gibson, Anne Palmer, Philippa Dalton, Jane Davies, and Diane Eshelby who had a very difficult job, the Scouts and ‘Skip’ for the loan of the marquee and help putting it up and taking it down; the Wetherby Lions for their Gazebos which they also erected and took down; Scott who spent the night on the field to safeguard the equipment; Georgina and Emma for providing children with the opportunity to make Eco flags; finally 5 Star Sports for the children’s activities and everyone else who helped make the day a success.
There was a never ending queue for Lyndsay Savery’s ice cream on the day and everyone we spoke to said they hoped we will be back next year as they had enjoyed the atmosphere and talent on show.
Finally, thank you to all the Bramham residents and friends from across the village who came out to support this truly collaborative event. For a full list of the show winners click hers  Bramham Show Winners
