Parish Council Meeting
You are hereby summoned to an extra-ordinary meeting of the Parish Council meeting to be held at 5.45 on Thursday 24 June 2021
At Bramham Village Hall
Prior to the first item on the agenda there will be an opportunity for members of the public to address the meeting. The members will take these representations into account when agenda items are considered but are not required to make a response. The session will last for a maximum of 15 minutes and each member of the public will be entitled to speak for a maximum of 3 minutes after which members of the public will no longer be permitted to address the Parish Council unless specifically permitted.
1. To receive and approve where requested apologies for absence.
2. To disclose or draw attention to any disclosable pecuniary interests for the purposes of Section 31 of the Localism Act 2011 and paragraphs 13-18 of the Members Code of Conduct. Also to declare any other significant interests which the Member wishes to declare in the public interest in accordance with paragraphs 19-20 of the Members Code of Conduct.
3. Parish Councillor Vacancy To note the resignation of Richard Bramma and agree a co-option timetable if no election is called.
4. Election of the Parish Council Chair for 2021/2022
5. To approve the appointment of a councillor to fill the Finance Committee vacancy.
6. 2020/21 Audit
6.1. To receive the Internal Auditors Report and note their recommendations
6.2 To approve and sign the Annual Governance Statement for 2020/21 (AGAR Part 3)
6.3. To approve and sign the Financial Statements for 2020/21
7. To approve the response to correspondence from the organiser of the 10/5k run
8. To consider a resolution to exclude press and all members of the public regarding items 9 & 10 due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed.
9. To receive applications for the office of Parish Councillor and to co-opt a councillor for the existing vacancy. Voting to take place in accordance with the council’s Co-option Policy dated 3 June 2020
10. To agree that the successful applicant(s) shall complete a Declaration of Acceptance of Office and return a signed copy to the clerk as soon as possible after being notified of their successful application
11. Date of next meeting
Wednesday 7 July 2021. Any agenda items or reports to be sent to the clerk by 5pm Tuesday 29 June 2021.
