Open Traffic Meeting Wednesday 24th November, Bramham Pavilion at 7.00pm
An Open Meeting is being arranged by the Traffic Management Working Group for the evening of the 24th November at 7.00pm and will be held in the Pavilion. The purpose is to offer Bramham residents the opportunity to hear first-hand what is going on with respect to the many speeding violations within the 20 mph zone and hopefully what possible permanent solutions might be available. Some of the volunteers who help monitor the SID will be available to offer their opinions and experiences; a senior engineer from LCC Highways and an Officer from the Neighbourhood Policing Team have also agreed to make themselves available to answer the more technical questions as well as keeping us informed as to what is possible and what is not. The evening will also include an update on measures being discussed to increase pedestrian safety around the school and also the latest thoughts on possible redevelopment around the Memorial in the Square, following many complaints about cars inappropriately parking around the Memorial.
